ABOUT RENEE

Renee provides thoughtful, client-centred counselling for children, adolescents, and young people transitioning into adulthood. Her neuroaffirming, strengths-based, and developmentally informed approach ensures each session is tailored to the individual’s needs, abilities, and goals.

By integrating play-based interactions, creative expression, mindfulness, and age-appropriate regulation strategies, Renee supports emotional awareness, confidence, communication, behaviour, and social skills.

Evidence-based therapies Renee uses include:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
  • Schema Therapy (ST)
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (including Intention Tapping)

Often joined by Pippa, the Chocolate Groodle, she makes therapy engaging, gentle, and personalised.

With a background as a primary school teacher and a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Renee combines educational insight with therapeutic expertise to create a calm, safe, and supportive environment.
